U.S. Expat CPA & Cross-Border Financial Planner for Military Families, Diplomats and Americans Living Abroad

I specialize in advising U.S. expats and globally mobile families because I understand their lives firsthand, not just professionally, but personally.

Over the past 15 years, my family has relocated six times, including three international moves to Singapore, Spain, and Chile, with another move back to Europe on the horizon. I know the financial, tax, and logistical complexity that comes with cross-border transitions: foreign income reporting, multi-jurisdictional tax exposure, retirement planning while abroad, currency considerations, and maintaining a long-term U.S. financial strategy while living overseas.

I am a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. in Finance & Accounting from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Master's in Tax & Financial Planning from San Diego State University. My career began at Ernst & Young in San Diego before moving into expat tax preparation in Singapore; experience that gave me deep technical grounding in the exact situations my clients face.

My husband is a Commander in the U.S. Navy, currently serving in embassy assignments. That gives me direct insight into the career structures, benefits systems, and relocation cycles that shape military and diplomatic households, a perspective few advisors can offer from the inside.

About Krozel Capital

Founded in 2012, Krozel Capital is a global advisory and U.S. tax firm serving U.S. citizens living and working abroad. We specialize in the complex financial lives of Americans overseas: cross-border tax compliance, multi-currency cash flow planning, long-term investment strategy, and retirement planning across jurisdictions.

What sets us apart is full integration. We handle U.S. international tax preparation and proactive tax strategy alongside comprehensive financial planning and investment management, coordinated around a single, complete picture of each client's financial life. No fragmented advice, no conflicting strategies, no need to manage separate relationships between a tax preparer and an investment advisor.

We serve U.S. expats and Americans working abroad, expat small business owners, U.S. military families and working spouses, and diplomats and Foreign Service professionals.

Outside the Office

When I'm not working with clients, I serve as an advisor to a local high school investment club, something I find genuinely rewarding. The rest of my off-time is spent reading, traveling, or on the mat for pilates and yoga.
