Cross-Border Financial Planner for Americans in Spain

I am a CFP®, CRPC®, CDFA®, and BFA™ professional with an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, a master’s in business from Sungkyunkwan University, and a B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University. I grew up in Madrid and work with clients in both English and Spanish.

I help Americans with ties to Spain plan across both countries, whether they are preparing to move, already living there, or splitting their time. My clients include expats, international couples, business owners, freelancers, and women facing life transitions. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, I also work with clients who are considering divorce, going through it, or rebuilding afterward.

My planning starts with the life a client wants to build and works backward from there, using a behavioral finance framework to keep the plan realistic and sustainable.

I founded Emerald Wealth to offer independent, fee-only advice built around people rather than products. The name reflects what emeralds symbolize: wisdom, growth, prosperity, and heart, which is how I want clients to feel about working with the firm.

Emerald Wealth specializes in U.S.-Spain cross-border planning and coordinates closely with clients’ tax and legal advisors in both countries. Clients work with us virtually from anywhere, and the first conversation is complimentary and confidential.

Outside the Office

I volunteer with Savvy Ladies, a nonprofit offering free financial education and one-on-one guidance to women. When I am not working, I am usually traveling with my camera, reading, or swimming in the ocean.
