Alex Ingrim is the co-founder of Liberty Atlantic Advisors, a U.S.-registered, fiduciary financial planning and wealth management firm serving Americans who are living in Europe or planning a permanent move abroad.

Born in Alaska and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Alex first moved overseas more than 15 years ago and has since lived in France, Canada, the UK, Italy, and Malta. He began his career in London, working in investment analysis for large international wealth management organizations, before turning his focus to the unique financial challenges faced by U.S. citizens abroad.

As a U.S. passport holder married to a foreign national and raising dual-nationality children, Alex has firsthand experience with the layered realities of expat life—U.S. tax complexity, cross-border investing constraints, long-term residency decisions, and the emotional weight that often accompanies financial planning in a second country.
